The Egyptians and the religion

The main religion in Egypt is Islam and then the Christianity and you can find through the history Egypt has effective role in spreading the Islam or the Christianity where many prophets live or pass through it like the holy family also you can find Egypt is mentioned in holy Quran.

All Egyptians whether Muslims or Christians fight together against many enemies such as Mongols and Crusaders plus all wars in the recent centuries.

The majority of Muslims and Christians live in peace and they have special social relations since the beginning of Islam where you can find the church near to the Masjid.

Also you can find the families in religious events exchange the congratulations and sweets especially in holy month. All Egyptians especially children celebrate with Ramadan where you find the Christians respect the fasting and they meet together to eat during Iftar and the cakes also.

Sometimes you can find the church bells ringing to  during the sunset to tell Muslims the time of fasting  done

This relations depend on many perceptions among Egyptians especially they believe the religion for Allah but the homeland for all
