Qarun lake

Actually we didn't have more details about the history for this lake which called Qarun lake. Indeed there are not epigraphy or carvings to tell us why this lake named by Qarun but holy Quran told us this story because this story happened with Moses
When Allah told Moses he became prophet and he gave him many miracles to prove to his family and for all Egyptians he became prophet he went to Pharaoh to ask him to obey Allah and spread the justice and the peace in Egypt
In this time the Pharaoh had prime minister called Qarun and he was very rich man but he refused Moses and attack him to prevent Moses to guide the people to obey Allah.
Qarun had a great treasury about seven floors under the ground and seven floors above the ground which full of gold, silver and jewelries.
The keys for this treasury were carrying through forty donkey which pass through the town to see it all the people
But Qarun was afraid of Moses to ask him to help poor so he tried to attack and hurt Moses to kill his message from the beginning.
Allah was very angry from Qarun and ordered the land to destroy his treasuries ans swallows him with his treasuries.
Even now there is no evident about the place for these treasuries but maybe under this lake where some books talked about that where happened great earthquake and this lake formed due to this earthquake

Many treasure hunters searched about any sign to give them the hope to discover this great treasure but till now there is no new about that.
